Greetings Friends and Supporters of McCall Neighborhood Center,
We hope that all of you are well and staying safe!
During the past 18 months, the COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted
many families, businesses, and communities. The McCall Center had to close
its doors during this time, with the exception of our weekly Senior Citizens
food distribution. Our only means of support has been through Donations
and rental of the facility, which is slowly starting up again.
As a means of generating funds to help sustain us through these closures, the
McCall Center is publishing our second African American Historical Calendar.
We want to celebrate and honor our local Trailblazers, Organizations, & Churches
that have led the way.
Attached is the information for purchasing an ad in the African American
Historical Calendar. We hope that you will submit an ad for a worthy El Paso
Leader, your organization, or Church by the deadline date of November 12th.
Please note that each full-page Ad will also include one free Calendar.
Additional calendars may be purchased for $15 each.
There will be a Black-owned Business Listing and a Church Listing for
$15 each. We will also include recognition of our generous donors with a
listing of “Olympian-size Supporters”. Donations of > $100 will be listed
as “Gold” supporters; > $50 as “Silver”; and > $25 as “Bronze” supporters.
Your support of the McCall Neighborhood Center for the past 36 years is
greatly appreciated, as we continue to uphold the vision of our Founder,
Leona Ford Washington, of a place to showcase African American
achievements, art and culture.
Sincerely,
The McCall Neighborhood Center
